Presentation Description

The ability to maintain a strong creative and innovative culture in both our schools as well as our business organizations remains a prominent struggle.  Research tells us that student creativity scores are declining.  Organizations identify innovation and creativity as a critical and necessary skill to compete in the 21st century, yet industry reports continue to lament on the need for creative and innovative thought.

Our workshop on creativity and innovation will serve to examine these issues and much more!

We will cover:

  • What exactly is creativity and innovation
  • Current creativity research
  • Creativity and innovation activities and tools
  • Creating a “practical creativity” environment
  • Our “Goodwill” innovation process
  • Creativity and innovation resources

Facilitator

Chris Weber has spent the past 3 years leading the Talent Management & Leadership Development Team for Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin.   He spends much of his time helping leaders lead well and think more innovatively.  Prior to Goodwill, Chris led the leadership development function for School Specialty and Schneider National.  He most enjoys conducting creativity workshops and hopes someday to have his own “Eureka Ranch”!
