Presentation Description
Adobe Captivate is an industry leading development tool for rapidly creating e-learning content. In this session, we will discuss and explore the functionality and benefits of Captivate and provide demonstrations of the some of the core functionality as well as a few intermediate features. During the second part of our session, participants will have the opportunity to use and explore Captivate themselves. Participants will be asked to bring either a project they are currently developing or ideas for a project so that they can use Captivate for a practical and real-world purpose. We will also provide resources for learning more about the functionality of Captivate.
This is not a marketing program, and no benefits are being provided to ASTD-SCWC or the hosting organization should you decide to purchase Adobe Captivate yourself. The purpose of this program is to introduce training professionals to a content development tool that others in the industry have found to particularly effective.
As an added member benefit, registration will initially be available for members only. Registration will later be opened up to non-members based on availability. In order to provide the best learning experience possible, space for this session is extremely limited. Participants will be asked to bring their laptops to the session. They will need to have installed and activated the Captivate demo that is available on the Adobe website.
