Presentation Description

Today’s organizations face the training challenges of reaching more employees, reducing costs, and increasing retention levels. Online instructor-led training (virtual training), webinars, podcasts, and mobile applications are among the many methodologies available today to help meet these training challenges. Knowing where to start can be overwhelming.

In this thought-provoking session you will gain a basic understanding of the eLearning options available today and take an in-depth look at the online instructor-led delivery method.

What You Will Learn:

  • What is eLearning?
  • How to select the most effective learning method for your content.
  • What is the skill set of the virtual trainer?
  • The similarities and differences between the traditional and virtual classrooms from the instructor's perspective and the student's perspective.
  • How to prepare for the transition from the traditional classroom to the virtual
    classroom.
  • Methods for developing a virtual trainer.
