Description:

Coaching and leading are not the same thing. Coaching requires a set of skills and emotional intelligence that not all leaders possess. While leadership requires skills associated with vision and strategic planning, coaching relies heavily on our personal and interpersonal skills to achieve the results you want. This session will discuss the differences between a leader and a coach and offer insights on things you can do to be a better coach today.   

Objectives: 

Understand the elements of what makes a coach |Discuss how to empower employees to be top performers through coaching | Demonstrate that different questions offer different results.

Presenter Bio:


Brandi Davis is the Owner of B. Davis Directions, a consultant company dedicated to developing leaders. The goal of B. Davis Directions is to create a leadership success plan to create an environment that will increase job satisfaction and retention, improve performance and communication, and ultimately, provider higher quality service. Brandi has worked in the health and human services industry in a variety of fields for over 15 years and has over ten years’ experience in recruiting, orienting, training, and supervising both paid and unpaid staff. Brandi’s previous experience includes the role of Education Director with the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association and working with HospiceCare, currently now known as Agrace, in the roles of Volunteer Coordinator and Learning and Development Coordinator.
