POSITION SUMMARY:
The Training Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of the UW System’s enterprise level non-programmatic training including leadership, management, employee development training, technology learning, and distance learning programs. Under the direct supervision of the Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer at UW System Administration, the Training Coordinator supports enterprise level training in alignment of the University of Wisconsin’s mission, values, priorities, and core competencies.
The Training Coordinator will perform a broad range of organizational development, training, management, and complex planning functions to ensure enterprise training needs and requirements are met, with consideration of unique needs at University of Wisconsin institutions. The Training Coordinator also consults with UW institutions regarding their needs for improving organizational effectiveness and affecting cultural change and assesses in-person and distance-based professional development content, providing recommendations for further improvement.
The Training Coordinator also develops and delivers organizational development content for UW System Administration employees, consults with departments regarding needs for improving organizational effectiveness and affecting cultural change, and designs and facilitates organizational and human resource development interventions as appropriate.
Hybrid work options may be available to Wisconsin residents. Work will be performed some of the time in our Madison, WI office, with remote work permitted for the remaining time. Specifics regarding work location requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
