We are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join the Paradigm team.
You will provide your expertise in designing and developing training offerings to meet Paradigm’s current and future learning needs by sharing your knowledge of training processes, products and skillsets. The Learning and Development Specialist should have a passion for delivering high-quality content to adult learners to help them achieve effective outcomes and objectives.
What You Will Do:
- You will create highly interactive and impactful instructor-led & web-based/eLearning training solutions designed around adult-learning principles. Training offerings will follow instructional design best practices.
- You will provide expertise and support for Paradigm training, and you will curate the content for the audience. Learners will vary in their expertise and familiarity with the suite of Paradigm products.
- You will collaborate and partner with SMEs across Paradigm to design and develop new curriculum and workshops and revise existing content.
- You will assist teams to assess existing and new training needs, this may include training requests for new employees and tenured employees. You will be responsible for scheduling group onboarding sessions and providing feedback to management on training session performance.
- You will monitor and evaluate learner feedback, performance and trends in an effort to identify specific skills/gaps & make sure training objectives are met. This includes reviewing existing and developing new data collection metrics as needed.
- You will be responsible for supporting operations in our learning management system (LMS). These responsibilities include account creation, access, permissions, enrollment, design, delivery, and reporting.
- You will participate in internal projects and initiatives to develop and improve current training team processes.
- You will be responsible for organization & classroom management including managing attendance, training calendars & records. These tasks may overlap with our compliance area.
- You will be responsible for creating Training team executive summaries and reports.
What You Need to Succeed:
- You will have 3+ years of experience in a training & development capacity.
- You understand various training tools & platforms, including LMS familiarity.
- You have 2+ years of experience in training adult learners, including the use of adult learning principles.
- You can interact and communicate effectively with all levels in an organization from entry level to the C-suite.
- You have proven expertise running in person & virtual trainings/workshops.
- You must be flexible and a self-starter in this role. You will be creating the playbook.
- You may be able to travel minimally (with the potential of international travel; you must be able to obtain a passport).
