    Reports to: Associate Manager, Training & Development               
    Job Class:  Non-Exempt
    Scheduled Hours: 8:00-5:00

    Job Summary:

    Under the direction of the Associate Manager, Training & Development, the Training Coordinator (TC) will deliver highly interactive, engaging, and impactful instructor-led, video conference, and webinar training opportunities.  The TC will support the ongoing efforts such as facilitating new hire orientations; coordinating, scheduling, and assisting ongoing training initiatives; resource and knowledge management; and regular marketing of the learning function.  This person will utilize the corporate learning management system (LMS) to assign training, update transcripts, and measure training success. TC will readily adapt to incorporate projects and assignments as assigned by the Associate Manager, Training & Development.  This is an entry level position that requires a growing knowledge of business operations, regulatory environment, and adult learning theory.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Training Delivery, Facilitation, and Design (40%)

    • Facilitate new hire orientation training programs and refine training materials as needed
    • Lead interactive training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities in instructor-led, video conference, and webinar formats on a regular and as needed basis

    Training Coordination (30%)

    • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including scheduling new hire orientation
    • Coordinate with SMEs to schedule training initiatives, including: Lunch N Learns, Leadership Development, and Certified Pharmacy Technician program.
    • Assist in the facilitation of training events over webinar and video conference
    • Coordinate, assign, and monitor training assignments

    Administration & Knowledge Management (25%)

    • Serve as site administrator for the corporate learning management system to assign online coursework, schedule training events, and update training transcripts
    • Send regular communications including training announcements, monthly update emails, and feedback efforts to market the learning function
    • Assist during file audits, including updating records, ad hoc reporting, and document review as needed
    • Serve as site administrator for the onboarding portal to maintain and update onboarding materials, job aids, and checklists; post upcoming events; locate and link to additional resources; and maintain corporate terminology dictionary

    Human Resources Stakeholder (5%)

    • Participate in Human Resource planning to meet business needs
    • Serve on the employee activities and corporate wellness committees
    • Assist with employee satisfaction activities as needed
    • Other related duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    Education:   Bachelor's Degree with a major in Adult Education, Training, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related subject preferred.

    Experience:   A minimum of 1- 2 years hands-on experience in live training delivery, facilitation, and evaluation in a corporate environment required.  Experience with learning management system administration (i.e. Cornerstone OnDemand), and webinar or video conferencing applications (i.e. WebEx, GoToMeeting, etc.) preferred.
