    Starting pay will be between $26.00 - 37.83/hr. ($54,080 - $78,686 annually) depending on qualifications. The positions are in pay range 81-03. Pay for current State employees will be set by the State Compensation Plan.

    The State of Wisconsin is building a training and development team to meet the future needs of the enterprise. 

    The Division of Personnel Management, responsible for enterprise human resources functions including training and development, is recruiting two Training Supervisors. Each position will be responsible for two regions (Regions 1&2 - headquartered at the Hill Farms State Office Building; Regions 3&4 - headquartered at Department of Health Services).

    Position Summary:   The Training Supervisors will play an active role in designing, delivering, and evaluating training on a variety of organizational developmental topics.  They will work closely with leadership in the agencies assigned to their region and will be responsible for leading the needs assessment process to ensure the needs of the agency will be met.  These positions will supervise a team of instructional designers and employee development specialists within their assigned regions.

    Qualifications:   Minimally qualified applicants will have the following education, training, and/or experience: 
    ·         Training others including developing, delivering, and evaluating the training material.
    ·         Leading teams. 
    ·         Managing multiple projects. 

    More qualified applicants will also have the following education, training, and/or experience:
    ·         Previous supervisory experience.
    ·         Conducting needs assessment for training programs.
    ·         Building effective relationships.
    ·         Training others on a variety of organizational topics such as team building.
